Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo in a recent video uses popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage as an example of why Nigeria is not moving forwards as a country.
Kanayo while reacting to Tiwa Savage’s performance at the King Charles III coronation speaks about how things are on the contrary in Nigeria as he narrated how religion, tribe among others have affected us to a greater extent.
Note that Tiwa Savage on Sunday May 7, 2023 makes Nigeria proud as she dishes a classic performance in England. She performs “Keys to the Kingdom” at King Charles’ Coronation Concert.
Reacting to this, Kanayo hails Tiwa Savage for putting the country’s name on the world map and by extension urges Nigerian leaders to emulate the United Kingdom rulers.
According to Kanayo, nobody asks about Tiwa Savage state or religion noting that the case is contrary in Nigeria and that is why the country is growing.
Kanayo added that Nigeria as a country needs to have a rethink in order to move forward as he concluded that leadership needs to understand that it is what you have upstairs that moves you forward.
He said; “If Nigeria has to move forward, leadership must begin to understand that it’s what you have upstairs that moves you forward.”
He added; ” To move this country forward, we must de- emphasize religion, tribe etc. Kudos to @tiwasavage.” Watch the video below;
